Teresa Waldron, CEO proudly took the trophy back to Deaf-initely Women after winning the East Midland’s Women’s Award – Outstanding Female Disability Awareness Champion Award.
In her inspiring speech, Teresa shared:
“I believe in the charity sector – we make a real difference to people’s lives. This award goes to all Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard-of-Hearing women. I have a Deafblind condition, diagnosed at 33, but I never let disability stop me.”
