Thank you to the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner for funding this initiative to support deaf, deafblind and hard-of-hearing women living in Nottingham/shire to live free from abuse.

Also, Safe Lives who delivered the IDVA training took on Veronica’s knowledge and experience from a deaf persons perspective on how the IDVA training could be improved to be a more deaf friendly course. This will have a positive impact on future training for deaf people and Veronica’s experience will be a valuable case study for the future.
