Free Advocacy Support for Deaf, Deafblind and Hard-of-Hearing Women Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham & Nottinghamshire
We provide free, independent advocacy services for deaf women to help you be heard, involved, and supported in important decisions about your life.
Our advocacy services include:
- Cost of Living Advocacy
- General (Generic) Advocacy
- Community Advocacy
We can support you with issues such as:
- Housing and rent arrears
- Benefits, appeals and tribunals
- Health and social care
- Debt and cost of living pressure
- Discrimination
- Banking and financial issues
Our advocates help:
- Support you to express your views and wishes
- Help you understand your rights and options
- Prepare for and attend meetings and appointments
- Make sure you are involved in decisions
- Signpost you to other services if needed
All sessions are fully accessible, with bilingual staff, BSL interpreters and captioners available.
