Health Matters for Deaf, Deafblind and Hard-of-Hearing Women

We recently ran the Women’s Health Champion programme. This helps deaf women learn about women’s health and signpost the right support and services.

Health issues for deaf women could include:

Breast screening
Cervical screening
Ear wax removal
Free hearing aids
Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Menopause
Sexual health

All services are accessible, with bilingual staff, BSL interpreters and captioners.
