We had an incredible donation of £500!

Mar 3, 2022

Accessible Belper so kindly gave £500 to help us to set up future programmes/courses/accessible venue at the Strutts Community Centre, Belper.

This will help us to make a difference to deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing women and communities across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Siobhan Fennell has founded Accessible Belper to raise awareness of all disabling conditions that effect people in Belper. Now other organisations, like us, will be able to carry on the work.

Carol Sayers, most of her working life was as a Youth and Community Manager in Derbyshire and Dorset. She specialised in information and advice for disabled young people. Since retiring, she has volunteered with Accessible Belper and Age UK.
