Becky and Veronica would like to thank everyone who came to the coffee morning to find out more about our Social Connector roles!

We had a great morning sharing information, getting to know everyone and meeting new people. We also enjoyed a delicious feast of sandwiches, sushi, salads, cakes and unlimited tea & coffee! It was fantastic to see people making connections, chatting and getting to meet other Deaf women in Derbyshire. Everyone who came said they really enjoyed it!

We are delighted to report that most of the women who attended now wish to support our project and become either Freelance or Volunteer Social Connectors, and we look forward to meeting with them 1-1 and getting started on our training programme.

We’re hoping to host another coffee morning for anyone else interested in the next few months…so make sure you look out for the next date.
