Funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, distributed by the Smallwood Trust, has been instrumental in supporting our deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing women to become financially resilient. Thank you to National Lottery players for making this possible!
The aims of this funding are:
- Boosting Confidence: We support deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing women to access free debt, money, and benefits advice through agencies like Citizens Advice. Our Advocates work to raise awareness of these essential services while building confidence to utilise our free, impartial and confidential support.
- Enhancing Knowledge: We educate and empower deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing women by providing them with essential knowledge needed to navigate and access free services, entitlements, and vouchers available to them.
- Removing Barriers: We collaborate with other organisations to overcome obstacles so that a network of support can be created to enable deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing women to utilise the services and resources available.
