Let’s Celebrate Deaf Women Together

Saturday 9th March at Museum of Making in Derby from 10am to 3pm.

Deaf-initely Women will be hosting an International Women’s Day event – Let’s Celebrate Deaf Women’s Day.

The event is for Deaf, deaf, deafblind, and hard-of-hearing women living in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, and Nottinghamshire.

The Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner, and Angelique Foster will be present to welcome everyone to the launch.

The event promises to be an informative and inspiring one, with a range of activities, drop-in health clinics, personal safety, stalls, and speakers lined up for the day including free equipment and goodies to give away! Attendees can look forward to a talk/demonstration by Yvonne Cobb, the BBC See Hear and ITV Good Morning Food presenter on women’s food and health, as well as an insightful session with a Sex Therapist.

Volunteers created the poster for Let’s Celebrate Deaf Women Together.
