⭐Deaf-initely Women’s special note⭐: Yoga saved Kavita. It bought her to a state of calm and helped her regain her true sense of self. It helped her to remember to simply breathe and be. The physical asana and meditation helped Kavita overcome her anxiety and inspired her to become a Yoga teacher.

Due to her deafness, Kavita experienced myriad barriers that prevented her having full access to Yoga as she could not always hear the Yoga Teacher as they were not deaf-aware. However, Kavita persevered and decided to undertake Yoga Teacher training to deepen her knowledge and skills in order to reach as many deaf people as possible to show them how Yoga can support their health and help them thrive in their personal and professional lives.
She focuses on teaching Hatha Yoga to deaf people, giving them access to Yoga and its philosophy, thus empowering them to take control of their health and well-being. Read more information on her website: https://bit.ly/38A81a3
