Abuse Awareness for deaf and hard of hearing women

DEaf Abuse Free service has been created to break down the barriers faced by deaf and hard of hearing women as victims of abuse. We experience a lack of accessible information and support.

The DEaf Abuse-Free delivers Freedom Programme, an awareness training session throughout Derby and Derbyshire for all deaf and hard of hearing women. We offer fully inclusive support with BSL interpreters, captions, video and email/text communication to meet a wide range of communication needs.

This will help deaf and hard of hearing women to identify the range of abuse and to give them the confidence to report it.
