Gene Barlow is delighted to join Deaf-initely Women as a Home Security worker.
Gene provides information and advice on how to make your homes safe and secure to live in. This service is FREE for all deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing women living in Derby and Derbyshire.
- FREE home security assessment.
- FREE information on how to make your home secure without costing you a penny.
- FREE safety and security products*
- FREE workshops on ways of making your home secure.
Will also make referrals to other agencies e.g. Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service to ask them to provide you with free safety/security equipment. This depends on where you live.
Even if you have equipment/alerters already, there is always room for improvement. You might like some advice or tips on how to make your home safer – could be better lighting, locks, or safety products to suit your needs. You can self-refer or ask someone to refer you to us.
About Gene Barlow:

*We have a limited budget while the offer lasts and dependent on eligibility criteria. If you live in a rented property, your landlord may be able to provide you free security/safety equipment – if you are unsure, I can find out for you.
